		<description>The key word is imagery/perception. What irks me is the way we carry ourselves in public, and then we get upset and pissed screaming racism when members of another race take notice and comment.

		<description>Blkirish, I believe that a contributing factor to the sensitivity of blacks is that we have been the punchline for so long. And a certain level of mal-intent is so often implied that we find it hard to differentiate between the harmless and the truly negative. 

When you factor in hurtful images, it makes that notion increasingly so. For instance, saying &quot;white people sure do love sushi!&quot; does not carry the same connotation - or imagery even - of saying &quot;black people sure do love watermelon!&quot;</description>
